OVERHAUL | SpRoNKeY's Portal v2.0 -> v2.1

Lo bobs. :D
Here is what is known as the 'changelog' for SpRoNKeY's Portal v2.1

At the moment, SP v2.1 is still undergoing extreme planning and everything like that so I'm not entirely certain on whats going to be here and whats going to go, but below is a list of definates and possibles. :)

DEFINATE CHANGES:

--> NEW navigation (possibly a Macromedia Flash-based navigation system), which will allow me to add MUCH more content into the Main nav, instead of having you guys die while clicking throguh each section.

--> TOTAL renew of all SP v2.0 sections (proposed new sections are listed below in possibilities)

--> NEW cleaner content system. Considering that most websites change from initial versions of a new design to bug fix versions etc, its EXTREMELY suprising that i'm STILL using v2.0 - i have never updated the main core of SP since i released this version in September last year! SpRoNKeY's Portal v1.0 lasted for about 1 week before i updated it to 1.1, then 1.2, i even managed to get to 1.3 before i settled on the design and started work on v2.0 (which im sure most of you will agree is a much more advanced website!).
The new content system will make use of all the lost space that doesn't get used most of the time - i have about 3 title bars, 2 of which stay exactly the same throughout every page (no that wasn't planned - the design sort of.. went that way :P)

--> LONG AWAITED dynamic content is going to appear (i.e. FUN, games, animations, short video clips etc.)

POSSIBLE CHANGES:

--> PHP-BASED content management system will probably be implemented for testing in v2.1 (maybe not) - if it is, that means MUCH more frequent updates (and we all know that you want that :D), as i dont have to go through all the hassles of bloody

--> COLOUR SCHEME might be reworked slightly

--> NEW TABLES (they should be invisible to everyone, however im going to implement a new CSS-based table system along with CSS-based typeface management - so basically, im updating some elements to XHTML from HTML4.01

--> AEEAF & SOT (my animated comic that im planning on developing) may arrive in v2.1. If it doesn't, maybe 2.2. I personally really like the v2.x design (in terms of graphics) so ill probably keep it as long as i possibly can. Expect v2.1.x versions if i end up going through versions quickly.

--> NEW SECTIONS may be used instead of the old section lists:

- Home
- Fun
- Games
- Music
- Files
- Tech
- Misc / Links
- About

In other words, new FUN section will probably be added, which will include animations, jokes, perhaps a comic strip (if i can be bothered making one - perhaps not if i cant :P). The Games and Music sections will stay, and new sections to appear will probably be Files and Tech. Links will also be added in the Misc. section. For the observant of you, you might have noticed that the Reviews section has disappeared from the new list - thats because reviews are now contained in their respective sections, and Reviews will become a sub-menu feature in my new navigation. Please note that the new website will PROBABLY make use of frames (the new navigation will most likely be Macromedia Flash-based and in order to have a dynamic submenu feature i'll have to use a static frame for navigation. This should be fine for everyone, although for some reason a lot of Netscape 3 users seem to be stumbling upon my website - im not sure why, but im guessing ill have to cater for these guys, so i'll try and make it NS3 compatible.
