I havn't posted here in a long, long time - since August 15th, in fact, when i posted the most famed and prestigious page in the history of SpRoNKeY's Portal, T2T -> Tribute To Toner™.

It feels good to be back to my old website... In recent times i've been working on websites for my business, firestudio, and my other sites such as SpRoNKLog and spronkey.com. Which brings me to comment about the future of SpRoNKeY's Portal.

There is almost no way this year (being my bursary/UE year) I will have the time to update SpRoNKeY's Portal using conventional methods (HTML), so i've decided not to bother, and simply halt any progress on this website in its current state.

No, this doesn't mean the end of SpRoNKeY's Portal- this website along with all it's goodies will still be here, however i'm in the process of rebuilding this website from the ground up - integrating it with SpRoNKLog, and an integration with the (in-dev) flame content management system by firestudio.

I was originally going to release version 2.1, which would bring a reworked sitemap with new sections, more content, a fancy flash menu (see here), although on second thoughts, and with a change in the content that I want on my website, I've decided on scrapping the SpRoNKeY's Portal v2.1 project in favour of merging PHP with SpRoNKeY's Portal (don't ask about hosting, unless of course you can help !!! ... please???), and sticking "v3.0" on the tag, which coincides nicely with the bulletin engine it uses, skode x³ :).

Anyway, more spronkey's portal goodness will be coming, but you will have a bit of a wait ;)

STUDENTS AGAINST NCEA. Yeah, you know you hate it. Go on.. be true to yourself and join up :P.. not that theres anything to join... HOWEVER!! This is a thinger, so as with any big thinger things, UNITED WE STAND (against NCEA and its wrath of conformist evil!)..

But seriously folks - take a good look at you and ask yourself this question:

"Am I the same as somebody else?"

Unless you're strange/weird/foolish/panq, the answer is NO. Because this answer is NO, it is unreasonable for the NZQA to slot us all into FOUR categories of achievement, and make us do things their way. We do not want to be conformists. We do not want to be slotted into moulds.

S - E - N asks Trevor Mallard and his team of conformers to listen to how students want to learn. WE ARE NOT THE SAME!

Today i regret to announce the demise of Panq as Supreme Ruler of the Entire Universe. His connection to the online world has been severed, and he will no longer (for the time being) watch over our extended universe.

Once again i reiterate that this is a sad day for all mankind, and others. Panq was a great supreme ruler, and we only hope that our wait for his return is shortlived.

Goodbye for now, Panq, Supreme Ruler of the Entire Universe. Return, with paradise.net. :)

Yeah, i dunno wtf is going on but apparently.. in the space of a few hours, im now an entire year older than i was a few hours ago :S .. gawd, this is strange... what ever happened to easy stuff like.. erm.. er... i dont have a damn clue what im talking about - i think i might leave it at that.

Das Deutsche SpRoNK?! 4:36pm 02/07/2003

Wilkommen zu Das SpRoNKeY's Portal im Deutschland! ... or not. No, But today, the 2nd of July is INTERNATIONAL DAY for 2003. In other words, its where my first post has a few sentences of another language.. and everybody celebrates and talks spronkanese or whatever :D

Guten Tag! Heute ist INTERNATIONAL TAG!! Das SpRoNKeY's Portal heute ist, International Tag haben! Lieben wir das international tag? YA!

I should also notify you all that over the course of the next few weeks, SpRoNKeY's portal is going to have a huge overhaul (not so much graphically) and will be providing funny stuff.. animations.. maybe some short videos and everything like that. It's all part of SP v2.1 and its coming soon :D <technical information here>

Week of horror and evil. 6:56pm 01/07/2003
This week is officially declared "Week of horror and evil" by me, SpRoNKeY. Many a great and known person has lost their life this week already, and i am sure many more across the globe will.

I offer my condolences to the families and friends of all those who lose their life this week in advance.

I sincerely hope that Week of horror and evil ends as quickly as it has started.

Muwuhahaha.. i love sad endings. They are so lovely and horrible :D - anyway, my sincere apologies to anyone who has a problem with literature, but a friend of mine wrote a poem when she was 8 and msg'd me it over MSN - it was excellent. Anyway, without further ado;

Once there was a very little bear
He was small and brown and losing his hair
Then one day a soldier came along
Took out a drum and went bing bang bong
That was the end of poor little Ted
The soldier took an axe and chopped off his head.
