Seriously though, I'm SpRoNKeY. My name
is not SpRoNKeY - those of you who are
privaledged enough to know who i am,
you'll know my real name, and probably
my phone number and a whole host of
other things about me.
SpRoNkeY's Portal is an interesting
one.. I have no idea how it started.
I have no idea what inspired me to make
such an extremely random website with
absolutely no point to it whatsoever
apart from being a website.. about..
stuff. :D
The original SpRoNKeY's Portal website
was just a small project at getting
back into graphical-based web design.
I'd been experimenting with primarily
text and table based design (fca.nzrealm.com,
maxi.orcon.net.nz/hosted/razone),
but it quickly grew into a full-blown
website. Hell, it wasn't even up for
very long until I decided that i needed
to quickly renew my design strategies
and start making heavily optimised high-detail
sites - like this one :).
SpRoNKeY the name comes originally from
Spronken (SpRoNKeN) who is a teacher
at Christ's College (which is an absolutely
disgusting school which i am ashamed
to say i used to attend). It was my
MSN sign-in name for a while, until
a good friend of mine started calling
me SpRoNKeY. It caught on. It now has
a website... wow, ain't that a touching
story?
SpRoNKeY's Portal is just a website.
If you don't like it, leaving is as
simple as pressing the little X at the
top right of you're browser window (or
whatever you're close button looks like).
If i have offended anyone with content
in this website my apologies go out
to that person offended. I try to keep
most content pretty clean and inoffensive,
but there are some things which just
can't be put across otherwise. I strictly
forbid racism.. well no i don't i've
made racist comments and jokes before
but sure those Koreans and their dogs
are cool. (that time im joking). No
- just because someone comes from Asia
it does not make them inhuman or somehow
inferior or of different standard to
someone who doesn't. It's the same with
any other racism. It's pointless. We're
all human.
